This is amusing.

On Tamora Pierce's post about writing female heroes, a livejournal user with the name gailsimone1 comments here. That journal has no public content, and no one friended to view any locked content.

This empty livejournal now has 38 people waiting for her to write in it.

I can't help but think of that interview where she said she didn't find herself all that fascinating.

  1. She uses that account to comment on scans_daily, doesn't she?

  2. Probably, I never check the comment threads there.

Still doesn't change the amusement in that she has no posts, no one friended, but almost 40 people are watching in case she uses it.

  3. Hey, I thought I'd join in. Haha.

    Incidentally, she friended Tamara.

  4. I almost never use my LiveJournal, except to comment on other LiveJournal blogs. I think my LiveJournal consists of maybe three posts total in about two years, the main one of which says "this is my real blog" with a link to my Blogger one. When Gail has time to blog she uses on Blogger as well, but mostly she's on message boards I think.
