So far, this has been a bad winter for blogging.

However, I still have time to stop in and accept my Time Magazine Person of the Year Award, or rather, my tiny portion of it as a comics blogger.
The annual honor for 2006 went to each and every one of us, as Time cited the shift from institutions to individuals — citizens of the new digital democracy, as the magazine put it. The winners this year were anyone using or creating content on the World Wide Web.

I'd like to thank my parents, misogynistic fanboys, and Green Lantern's Butt. (Via)

  1. Especially Green Lantern's Butt.

    And I noticed the snub.

  2. Sin, I would totally acknowledge your influence in my current hobbies, but I would never thank you for it.

  3. Accepting for Green Lantern's butt is Aquaman's thigh.

Aquaman's Thigh: Heya all. Green Lantern's butt would have loved to have been here tonight but his head hit something and now he is unconscious again. I am sure if the butt were here it would be thrilled to see a cartoon bit of anatomy honored by Ragnell. It means a lot to all us non-mammary parts when we get noticed in a comic. Thank you and goodnight.

  4. Just the one Green Lantern's butt? I mean, Hal has a good one, but Kyle's is quite thankable if you ask me. ;)

  5. They are ALL beautiful beautiful behinds. Kilowog in particular has a lovely pair. Hell, so did Katma for that matter.

  6. Yay for all of us! For me, this so makes up for not winning the Nobull Peace Prize again this year!
