Okay, this really spoilery cover just made me love the writer, the artist, everyone involved. I am having 90s editorial stunt flashbacks, and this time its a good thing.
I've been kind of expecting something like this would happen. I think one of the comics connected to "Infinite Crisis" ended with some kids finding the Green Lantern's lantern washed up on a beach somewhere...
What, so now I have to read Ion too?
ReplyDeleteReal time reaction:
ReplyDelete"90s stunt, huh? Guess Kyle's in the Parallax armor. Again."
"Oh well, might as well click."
"HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!"
Uh, yeah, that's pretty damn cool
I really hope they come back and get their own universe, and not... you know, get killed in a stupid way.
ReplyDeleteGosh, this looks very intriguing.
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty awesome. Talk about outta left field!
ReplyDeleteI thought Tangent Comics were pretty cool the first time around. I still pull them out to read from time to time.
ReplyDeleteThe second series was a letdown by comparison.

ReplyDeleteDidn't the Tangent Green Lantern show in the Great Ten's HQ in 52? Or am I mixing her up with someone else?
ReplyDeleteGhost Fox Killer has a very similar costume.
ReplyDeleteSuspiciously similar in fact. And her powers involve communicating with the dead as well...
