Yay! Congrats on the guest stint...but, oh, Ragnell, just when I was thinking I was getting to know you, you say you're not much of a Teen Titans reader. But, I guess I'll have to forgive you. ;)
Hi Ragnell, So I have to ask. What did you make of the scene with Starfire and Lobo and the, um, loss of her top? Because I still can't wrap my head around it. Curious! Ciao, Amy
Amy -- It was.. interesting. Worrisome at first, but there's a shift when it comes to Lobo... Something about him as a character immediately throws any scene he shows up in into parody for me.
And there was something off aside from the obvious, it contradicted what I knew about Tamaraneans. I wouldn't think the loss of a top would bother Starfire enough to cover her chest with her arms. I'd always gotten the impression of her as a just stand there and give orders in the nude anyway type of person.
Hi Ragnell, I definitely agree with you re: Lobo. As for Starfire covering her chest, it seemed almost... coy. As if she were performing the action expected of her? i.e. it was just another way to get Lobo to do what she wanted? :) Ciao, Amy
