Wonder Woman #11

I can't bring myself to read it. Its just sitting there on the pile.

Anybody have any thoughts on it that might make me want to read it?

  1. I dropped it. And Amazons Attack and Teen Titans. >.>;;

Until everything is back to normal and/or Gail Simone takes over WW. Whichever happens first. XD

  2. I read it this afternoon, and I've already forgotten it.

  3. I guess the best thing that can be said for it is that Superman comes off as more out of character and ridiculous than Diana does.

  4. Well...every single other hero, which includes the Justice League AND Justice Society come off as incompetent boobs, Diana goes back to Themyscira and manages to somehow piss off the Goddess Athena.

    That's about it.

    Save us Gail! Save us!

  5. I thought Athena was hanging out with Batman villains in Metropolis? I hate Amazons Attack but I can't bring myself to drop it. Having only part of a miniseries drives me crazy, it's all or nothing with me, maybe I can just think of a creative way of getting the issues I already bought.

  6. Well, you can be like me and hate on the characterization of Athena. Sure, I don't know how she was characterized in this comic, but she's not the god that helped Odysseus or Jason that I've read about.

  8. Are you giving away $3 to anyone who asks, or just comics companies? 'Cause I take PayPal...

  9. 1. It's not Picoult.

    2. Paco Diaz' art.

    3. It has a lot of awesome fight scenes featuring an invading armada kicking the crap out of the Avengers, Iron Man, and the Fantastic Four....oh wait, wrong crossover.

  10. Uh, this isn't really relevant here, but your site seems to have difficulty loading on my computer when there's a poll on the front page. Everything below it, as well as the sidebar, seems to take a little longer to load than anything else. I'm not sure what the problem is.

  11. If you read it, Gail's first issue will just seem that much more awesome.

  12. Uh, no. Can't think of a single reason for you to read it.

  13. If you own it already, you can complain about it with authority.

  14. Anon on loading -- that's just the nature of the polling site I used. Blogger loads my page, gets to the script for the poll and waits for that site to load. Then it loads the rest of my page.

  15. Should you read it? Sure, its harder to criticize a subject with authority if you haven't examined it...

Should you pay money for it? HELLS NO!
