Both are actually ensemble films.

Wonder Women will be the only female hero in a team of, what, 7 JLAers? And "Silk Spectre leads Alan Moore's Watchmen"? Really? I would've said it was Rorsharch. But still, one female hero amongst a ensemble cast of about 6.

"Action features starring women remain a hard sell for many moviegoers."

Oh dear. So not shitty scripts, crap direction or lack of funds then?S Bateshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14356657498264383431noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16538843.post-27139610291551032372007-10-09T19:47:00.000-04:002007-10-09T19:47:00.000-04:00Generous, aren't they?--SandicommGenerous, aren't they?

--SandicommAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16538843.post-66927688998105008852007-10-09T12:25:00.000-04:002007-10-09T12:25:00.000-04:00wow.that just changes everything.I take it all bac...wow.

that just changes everything.

I take it all back.Micklehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13634363950848962653noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16538843.post-8066544026754644092007-10-09T10:19:00.000-04:002007-10-09T10:19:00.000-04:00I was right - four. And one is a sequel to The Sist...I was right - four.

And one is a sequel to The Sisterhood of the Traveling PantsJeffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16807329346289420791noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16538843.post-51793916757912355432007-10-09T09:25:00.000-04:002007-10-09T09:25:00.000-04:00at least three. There might even be four.at least three.

There might even be four.Jeffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16807329346289420791noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16538843.post-91595367242327153792007-10-08T21:24:00.000-04:002007-10-08T21:24:00.000-04:00omg.three. (19 if you take out the "indie" films they made.)

Assuming a similar number this coming year, that means that, by their own count, barely more than 10% (15% if they aren't counting "indies") of their films feature female leads "and casts".

(yeah, as if an ensemble cast that include women is the same as having a female lead.)

And that's an adequate answer to the question?!?!

as if.Micklehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13634363950848962653noreply@blogger.com
