It won't matter to movie audiences whether the book's been out for a year or two -- to them, it'll be one of many options.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16538843.post-1162542751698456052006-11-03T03:32:00.000-05:002006-11-03T03:32:00.000-05:00I think the Timing's strange too. And now that the regular book is late, they're bringing the stuff out.Ragnellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00373059673228550524noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16538843.post-1162532394512167512006-11-03T00:39:00.000-05:002006-11-03T00:39:00.000-05:00There's a Showcase in the pipeline too. On fact the timing is curious - There's like 40 years' worth of Wonder Woman that has NEVER been collected and now we are getting two different volumes almost simultaneously.

I fear the "Greatest" volume may have very little of that huge untouched archive for us. They'll almost certainly include the widely reprinted origin story from Sensation #1, and the stories by the two post Crisis writers listed are likely already available in graphic novel format, so to be entirely pessimistic that could leave us with as little as two previously unreprinted stories.

I'll be hoping for more.Marionettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06985975073151200366noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16538843.post-1162516853528447972006-11-02T20:20:00.000-05:002006-11-02T20:20:00.000-05:00It would be nice if she got a 500+ pg Showcase Pre...It would be nice if she got a 500+ pg Showcase Presents edition, instead of a 192 pg 'tease'...or is the fact that this is going to be in colour supposed to make up for that?

I guess we'll just have to be patient and hope this Greatest Stories edition sells well enough to convince DC to go the Showcase Presents route...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16538843.post-1162493844749282072006-11-02T13:57:00.000-05:002006-11-02T13:57:00.000-05:00So, is the Sekowsky era to be forgotten completely...So, is the Sekowsky era to be forgotten completely?Danielhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07184638921669629752noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16538843.post-1162482916037014772006-11-02T10:55:00.000-05:002006-11-02T10:55:00.000-05:00Hey, I love Wonder Woman, but this isn't just goin...Hey, I love Wonder Woman, but this isn't just going to be people getting tied up is it? Or as an idea. But the actual execution of her book has been below most of the other DC icons.

She did get better post-Crisis, though. Which puts her up on Superman and Batman.MarkAndrewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16956940483406724174noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16538843.post-1162439937217840192006-11-01T22:58:00.000-05:002006-11-01T22:58:00.000-05:00I'll be very curious to see which stories they pic...I'll be very curious to see which stories they pick.
