Katma Tui's First Look

I found the debut story Katma Tui, the first female Green Lantern. Published way back in 1964, in the back of Green Lantern #30. Here's the title page. It has a significance that my regular readers will understand instantly.

(Here's a clue for the rest of you)

  1. Wow, not only is she showing off her butt, she's also about to fall over. Always a Green Lantern, indeed.

  2. Weird, the first thing I noticed was that poor Katma's first appearance dealt with her fighting a tentacle monster with blatant penile ends. Run, Katma, run!

  3. I see Green Lantern costumes have got tighter as the years go by...

  4. I notice that, as soon as they had a FEMININE Green Lantern arse to show, they didn't show the male ones...

  5. All ass issues aside ... why is she even running to the fight? Couldn't she fly? Hell, of all weapons, shouldn'g the ring be the most excellent long range weapon of them all?

Eh, I'm being too petty. As far as her butt goes, the lines of her costume make her butt look wierd to me.
